Patrocinio Private Nature Reserve For the coffee culture lovers, we offer our coffee tour of approximately 1 hour and a half where you will know by first hand everything you need to produce the best coffee from the nurseries to the wet benefited to finally finish with the tasting of a cup of Reserva Natural Patrocinio coffee. The best coffees in the world are grown on volcanic soils. It is not surprising that the coffee of Patrocinio is delicious, as it grows to the perfect height to provide a grain of the best quality and endurance and processed to get the best taste. Guatemala is known for having some of the best coffees in the world. The true connoisseur will be delighted with the coffee of Patrocinio nature reserve, cultivated in our reserve, sun-dried & roasted to satisfy the most demanding palates. You will be able to appreciate the process that goes through coffee from planting, harvest & drying. The agrotourism is one of the most exuberant adventures of Patrocinio reserve, and the Tour del Café is one of the favorites for many visitors. The coffee is sown in the months of May and June. In Patrocinio reserve, more than 10,000 new coffee seedlings are produced each year and a maximum of 70 local workers are employed during the harvest season, which takes place between August and January.
